What else could it be but Bolens.
I remember running my Dad's Pioneer Saws. The 600 series were absolute boat anchors. If you could get it up on the log, it'd cut down through.
"Air" mower? What'd it do that gave it that name? I see it has wheels, it can't be a "floater"
That pic is from 1967
I agree there's nothing like the smell of those mac fumes LOL
That's quite a mower Brian,is that one in your avatar actually yours?
my avatar is actually one from a Brochure. These are somewhat rare at least where I am. I've seen only 1 listed here
I have never seen one before, quite a machine.
Is the engine Tecumseh or Briggs? What is the extra piece that's sticking up out of the deck to the right of the engine?
The thing sticking out is the self propelled mechanism.
It's a Lauson engine
I have never seen one, pretty cool mower. Here everyone though a mulching mower deck was invented in the latter 80's early 90's LOL
Yes, It still amazes me how Bolens products were so many years ahead of their time
Found a running David Bradley on Reno's craigslist if anyone interested.
also a Wright's Piston Powered Saw
That one is neat.
